Biography

Prabhjot received her PhD from Imperial College London, which focused on the synthesis of catalysts for copolymerization reactions. For one year she was a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London, where her research focuses on Polyester Synthesis. Prabhjot became an Associate Editor at Nature Communications in January 2016. She became Team Manager of one of the Chemistry editorial teams in May 2017. Her expertise in green and sustainable polymers makes her fully equipped to handle the polymer and hydrogel papers at Nature Communications. Her team handles – Organic Chemistry, Homogeneous Catalysis, Nanotechnology for Biological Applications, Biomaterials, Chemical Biology, Medicinal and Protein Chemistry, Advanced Organic Functional Materials.

Abstract

The talk aims to explain the differences between the Nature branded journals in terms of scope. It will also explain Nature Communications in depth and highlight all the policies and initiatives adopted by the journal along with explain the editorial process in detail and hopefully illuminating the publication process.
