Professor and Ph.D. supervisor of ECUST. He is the dean of Shanghai Key Laboratory of Chemical Biology. His research interest focus on the development of pesticides, He is the main inventor of Paichongding and Cycloxaprid. He was awarded first and second prizes in Novel Product Innovation by China Crop Protection Industry Association. He got National High-level Personnel of Special Support Program, Youth Science and Technology Innovation Leader Leader, New Century Excellent Talents, Shanghai Leading Talents, Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leaders et al. He is in charge of dozens of research programs such as 863 program, sub-project of 973 and Natural Science Foundation of China. He published more than 100 papers as first or correspondence author in J. Agric. Food Chem., Insect Biochem. Mol. Biol., Environ. Sci. Technol. He filed about eighty patents including 14 PCT patents and 38 international patents. Twenty domestic patents and fifteen international patents were authorized.
