 Qin Liu, Professor

Qin Liu received her Ph.D. degree in biochemical engineering from East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST, Shanghai, China) in 2005, and she became a full professor of ECUST in 2012. Professor Liu was was selected as Youth Science and Technology Innovation Talent by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission in 2007, Venus of Youth Science and Technology by Shanghai Science and Technology Commission in 2008 and New Century Talent by Chinese Ministry of Education in 2009. In recent years, professor Liu has been dedicated to the research of marine pathogenic bacteria including Vibrio anguillarum, Vibrio alginolyticus, Aeromonas hydrophila and Edwardsiella tarda in the following aspects:

(1) Pathogenesis of marine pathogenic bacteria and their interactions with host

(2) Rational design of novel vaccines against marine pathogenic bacteria.
