Associated professor and Ph.D. supervisor of ECUST. He got his Ph. D. degree in Applied Chemistry at ECUST in 2009. From 2012 to 2013, he entered John E. Casida’s lab at UC-Berkeley to study pesticide toxicology and metabolism. Centering on crop protection, the applicator engages in the basic research on green pesticides and their applications in crop protection, biological mechanism of insecticides, the modulation of insecticidal target proteins and the development and applications of novel insecticides. He published more than seventy papers including thirty-six papers as first or correspondence author in PNAS, J. Agric. Food Chem., Insect Biochem. Mol. Biol. and J. Org. Chem. He filed about thirty-nine patents including five domestic authorized patents and ten international authorized patents. He is one of the inventors of commercialized insecticides Paichongding and Cycloxaprid. He is in charge of several research programs such as Natural Science Foundation of China and Australia DC Foundation. He was awarded first and second prizes in Novel Product Innovation by China Crop Protection Industry Association. He is supported by the Youth Talent of university and Shanghai Pujiang Program. He now is the youth editorial member of Chinese Chemical Letters and the member of American Chemical Society.
