Dr. Youjun Yang
He is currently a professor of the School of Pharmacy of the East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST). He finished his undergraduate study in the foreign language department of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) from 1997-2002. He then went to Baton Rouge, LA and earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Louisiana State University in 2007 under the guidance of Professor Robert M. Strongin. After completing postdoctoral work at UT Austin with Professor Eric V. Anslyn, he joined the ECUST faculty as an independent PI in fall 2010.
The theme of Prof. Yang's research is the development of novel fluorescent dyes, probes and labels for biological, medicinal and material applications.
