题目： Biology-driven total synthesis of natural and unnatural products

Bastien Nay，有机化学和药学双博士，法国国家科学研究中心（CNRS）主任研究员，法国化学会杰出会员。主要从事与生物学科交叉的化学全合成研究，尤其是对复杂天然产物的仿生合成和结构改造。Bastien Nay是国际著名杂志Natural Product Reports (RSC)的建议委员会委员，是Wiley-VCH (2011)出版书籍《Biomimetic Organic Synthesis》的共同编著者。他有非常广泛的国际合作网络，包括中国、德国、比利时、日本、阿尔及利亚等。Bastien Nay以通讯作者在国际著名期刊如Nat. Prod. Rep., Chem. Eur. J., Org. Lett., Org. Chem. Front., J. Org. Chem., Org. Biol. Chem.等发表论文60多篇。课题组链接：https://naygroup.wordpress.com/

Abstract:

Total synthesis and the development of synthetic methodologies constitute the main core of our work. However, we like connecting them to biological topics through bio-inspired synthetic strategies, chemical biology, medicinal chemistry and natural history. By developing original synthetic methods inspired by Nature, we try to understand the chemical origin and expend the diversity and complexity of natural products, and study their underlying biological role with applied perspectives. This lecture will describe some parts of this extended panorama.

题目：From discovery to synthesis―Approach to the rational utilization of marine natural products

李序文，博士，中国科学院上海药物研究所

副研究员，硕士研究生导师

2015年入选中国科学院“青年创新促进会”

2016年入选上海市“浦江人才计划”

2013年获得法国巴黎第六大学（UPMC，皮埃尔和玛丽居里大学）分子化学专业博士学位，2013-2015年分别在法国科学院（CNRS）Prof. Bastien Nay和瑞士苏黎世联邦理工大学（ETH Zurich）Prof. Erick M. Carreira小组从事博士后研究。2015年加入中国科学院上海药物研究所海洋天然产物化学郭跃伟研究组, 并于2018年选为青岛海洋科学与技术试点国家实验室-海洋先导物成药性开放工作室的核心骨干成员。目前主要研究方向包括：1）新结构活性海洋天然产物发现和复杂天然产物结构鉴定；2）活性天然产物的全合成和功能导向性合成。已在国际知名期刊Nat. Prod. Rep., J. Med. Chem., Org. Lett., Chem. Eur. J.等以第一作者或通讯作者发表40多篇SCI论文。目前担任中国药学会海洋药物专业委员会 “海洋药物博士论坛”青年委员会委员，上海市药学会海洋药物专业委员会委员，上海市医药卫生青年联合会第二届委员会委员，《药学学报》中英文两刊青年编委，《Chinese Journal of Natural Medicine》青年编委，APSB, Marine Drugs, BMCL, Synlett等杂志特邀审稿人。

Abstract:

Marine environments are very special: high salt, high pressure, low oxygen, low temperature and oligotrophic conditions, as well as harsh species competition. All these facts resulted into the complex chemical ecology of marine living organisms, of which the interaction between the organisms and the environment, and between them and their prey or predators enable them to produce structurally and functionally diverse metabolites―Marine natural products (MNPs). MNP research has become a hot field while with few applicational achievements in China. How to rational use these marine natural products? How to explore the chemical and functional diversity of MNPs? How to intensively investigate the potential functional MNPs for further medicinal or other applications? This lecture will provide some preliminary examples attempting to solve these problems.
