教育经历     1985年 获牛津大学博士学位

1982年 获布里斯托尔大学化学学士学位

研究领域     生物催化的有机合成研究；酶的定向进化；蛋白质过程技术；小分子治疗蛋白抑制剂的设计与合成；生物质转化生物燃料的技术开发。

获奖情况    Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Awards (2011). RSC Organic Industrial Chemistry Award (2009); AZ/GSK/Prizer UK Prize for Process Chemistry Research (2007); International Biocat Award (2004); Royal Society of Chemistry Corday-Morgan Medal and Prizer (1996); Pfrizer Academic Award for Organic Chemistry (1995); Royal Society of Chemistry Medal for Carbohydrate Chemistry (1992); Royal Society Foulerton Gift and Binmore Kenner Junior Research Fellowship (1987).
