Research Prof. Jiaofang Huang



The long-term goal of her research is to develop environmentally responsive smart materials through the intersection of synthetic biology and nanotechology and bioengineering.

ØMicrobial biofilms-based living engineering materials (LEM) synthesis and applications in Biocatalysis, Bioremediation and Biomedicine.


ØBiosynthesis and production optimization of DNA nanomaterials and applications in Biomedicine.
