Wang Xuedong

PhD, Associate Professor, East China University of Science and Technology, State Key Lab of Bioreactor Engineering


      Dr. Wang received his PhD in Biochemical Engineering in 2002 from East China University of Science and Technology. Thereafter, he took a research scientist position with ECUST. In 2012, he went to GT, US, and worked in Reach Chen’s group as a visiting scholar for one year. He is currently an associate professor in the School of Biotechnology of ECUST. Dr. Wang has broad interests in metabolic engineering and biocatalysis. His research works are related to the R&D of biotech drugs.

1. Metabolic Engineering: Metabolic pathway engineering and processing development


2. Biocatalysis and Biotransformation: Screening, preparation and characterization of new enzymes; Bioprocess development;
