Prof. Zhu has many research publications in prestigious journals including "Trends in Biotechnology", "Trends in Food Science and Technology", "Biotechnology Advances". He was invited to review papers for many academic journals, and is the evaluation expert of international EU projects. Prof. Zhu is in the editorial board of Chinese Journal of Biotechnology, Journal of Microbiology.
